Generations

Visiting the cemeteries during Día de los Muertos was a profoundly moving experience. Surrounded by families, food, music, laughter and tears, I felt honored to participate in paying respect to the generations who had gone before. We placed marigolds on the graves with no flowers and held a moment’s silence for those with no one to mourn them.
